Starting out as a Paramedic, Graham retrained as an Outdoor Activity Instructor in 2008 and has been on many adventures in God’s great creation since then. He moved from South Africa to join the team at A+ in 2017 and we’re so glad he did.

Alda, who has worked in various communities, comes to us with a wealth of compassion and enthusiasm. She is leading out AIM work with children who need additional support.

Jono will most likely be the person you will talk to when you give us a ring! He looks after the bookings calendar and our instructor team and very much enjoys watching them spend time encouraging and uplifting young people from behind the safety of his desk.

Dan loves being outdoors with friends or just solo. After studying applied theology at university, he is eager to help people know Jesus in fresh ways in and out of church settings. Dan’s other hobbies include learning DIY skills, making music and finding good sticks

After studying theology at Wycliffe Hall Oxford University, Wayne joined us as an aim intern working with children who need extra nurturing. Wayne has a passion for seeing individuals grow in to their full potential.

After training as a lifeguard, Benjie joined the gap year and continued to progress to being a full-time instructor. Benji is now an instructor with the AIM team, our specialist SEN team.

Formerly a youth pastor in rural mid-Wales, Tom has joined the team with a passion to see young people realising their potential and not just staring at a screen all day. Tom’s hobbies include 1-1 chats over good coffee, watching the latest Marvel movies and singing.

Tim lived in Africa and New Zealand before relocating to the UK in 2010. He joins Adventure Plus with over 30 years of experience working in Christian charities and organisations.

Josh completed two GAP years with us before joining the team as a full-time instructor. He took a short break from A+ to work as a bus driver but joined us again in 2022 as part of our specialist SEN team.

Siôn studied sports and exercise science at Swansea University before coming to A+ for a gap year. Three years later he now runs the gap year programme! He loves to get outdoors in God’s creation, especially into the mountains for climbing, walking, and skiing.

Having graduated from Bangor University with a 1st class BSc Geography degree, Matt joined the team as our Conservation and Land Management Intern. He has a great love for the outdoors and spent large parts of his childhood on Dartmoor and on Devon’s beaches.

After graduating, Ruth worked in fundraising for a mission organisation, before heading out to Africa as a missionary herself for several years.
