AdventureImpact (Young People at Risk) Coach and Event LeaderThe AIm Coach and Event Leader will work closely with the Aim Coordinator and be the lead coach on our AIm bookings. S/he will: build relationships with the young people - inspiring them, building their confidence and equipping them to make positive decisions; maintain and develop key relationships with clients; work with group leaders to devise and deliver bespoke programmes tailored to each group; help to create AIm programmes that can be proactively offered to clients; engage and coach other Adventure Plus coaches in working with our AIm client; and support the Group Bookings events as an Event Leader and coach.

 

Adventure Youth Worker and Senior Activity Coach: A role for someone who can also provide leadership for our team in our activities here at A+ and at other venues. The right candidate will have a passion for our 'Credible Christian witness; and be qualified as a Mountain Leader, D of E Expedition Assessor, with a selection from UKCC L2, SPA, MIAS L2, British Fencing Leader and Archery GB Instructor.

 

Conservation (2 days/wk) and Adventure Activities Coach (3 days/wk):  You will play a key part in supporting our Conservation Intern carrying out wildlife surveys, supporting volunteer work parties and helping to develop bushcraft and other activity venues on the AdventureBase.  Training will be provided in a number of conservation and field studies skills.  You will also receive training to deliver adventure activities here at A+. Training to instructor/leader level will be provided in a range of activities including camping, climbing, mountain-biking, archery, fencing, bushcraft… The role includes the A+ discipleship programme and applied theology, relating our faith to our work with young people. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring encouragement to over 6,000 young people each year as we seek to be a credible Christian witness through our work in the outdoors.

 

Assistant Hospitality, Bookings and Maintenance Manager: An exciting Opportunity to take a lifestyle change and help a growing ministry of Christian Hospitality in Oxfordshire. A vacancy has arisen to work at Windmill Farm - a Christian Conference Centre and Training Centre in Oxfordshire, owned by Adventure Plus. In addition to a growing Christian conference and training centre, A+ is in the process of developing a cutting edge youth Adventure Centre on another part of the property. Windmill Farm has job vacancies to help provide Hospitality & help lead our Housekeeping Team; and to support coordination of Bookings & help coordinate site maintenance. This position could suit a married couple, or two individuals and please note that experience in accommodation based hospitality and housekeeping is essential.
