Oxfordshire Activity Holiday

Monday, May 07, 2018

We recently hosted our annual TA Easter adventure and activity holiday for children aged 8-11 years at Windmill Farm in Clanfield.

The 2018 theme was Creation and we loved sharing our beautiful part of the world with children from all over the country, many from central London. The week was full of amazing adventures and wonderful interactions between our experienced team of Activity Coaches and the excited, enthusiastic children.

He’s quite a quiet, thoughtful, sensitive boy and we were a little concerned that he might struggle to settle in....but all the leaders did such a good job of making everyone feel very welcome and included that he didn’t feel nervous at all.’ Feedback from a thankful parent.

Adventure Activities for 8-11 Year-Olds

Activities during the week include cycling, climbing, archery, arts and crafts with a highlight for one camper being mastering the skill of riding a bike for the very first time. What a delight to be a part of such life-changing and confidence-boosting moments.

Thank you lovely people! I saw one very, very happy boy earlier - he was thrilled to have learnt to ride a bike today!’ Feedback from a proud aunty.

2018 Adventure Holidays in Oxfordshire

Planning is well underway for our Total Adventure summer holidays which take place here at A+ in Clanfield, Oxfordshire and online bookings are open.

TA summer week 1 for 12-15 year-olds runs from 30th July-3rd August with options for camping and residential spaces in our Windmill Farm Conference Centre facilities.

TA summer week 2 for 8-12 year-olds runs from 13th-17th August with both camping and day visitor options.

TA summer is an exciting multi-activity holiday. The week is crammed full of adventure activities. Alongside the outdoor challenges there is the additional 'adventure of faith' when we take time to consider what it means to 'Live Life to the Full' Or Life to the Max as we say at A+, from a Christian perspective.
