Directors Days’ Open Afternoon 2019

Monday, April 01, 2019

Our annual Directors’ Day Open Afternoon is one of the highlights of the A+ year. It is an opportunity for our team to update the Directors and supporters.

Each department gave a presentation which included targets met, challenges overcome, encouragements from 2018 and then hopes for the year to come.Supporters were able to put faces to names and to hear uplifting stories of how God has answered prayers and worked powerfully in the lives of the A+ team and the nearly 8,000 young people we worked with throughout the year.

The day went well and we have been really encouraged by the feedback we have received.

“I loved listening to the GAP year guys, how they had been helping each other get through some challenges, such as under water drills.”

“It was great to see the wider organisation and Directors which support A+. Jon’s talk was especially inspiring (and very moving) and I particularly enjoyed listening to Ali and the Adventure Impact (AIM) team. Would love to help out at some point.”

The amazing Windmill Farm team served a selection of delicious homemade cakes and tea time treats during the break.

After which we had the opportunity to see the Adventure Base Master plan created by Jonathan Ford, landscape architect.

We would love to know your thoughts on the layout and design. Is there anything that you think we have missed, something that you think we need to include that we haven’t thought of yet? Get in touch. The A+ team consider it a privilege to be a part of this exciting phase in the development of a centre for transformation, where we can live Life to the Max!
