Adventure Youth Worker and Senior Activity Coach

A role for someone who can also provide leadership for our team in our activities here at A+ and at other venues. The right candidate will have a desire to be a credible Christian witness in their role and one of the following qualifications: Mountain Leader, D of E Expedition Assessor as well as one or more of the following qualifications: UKCC L2, SPA, MIAS L2, British Fencing Leader or Archery GB Instructor.

Conservation (2 days/wk) and Adventure Activities Coach (3 days/wk)

You will play a key part in supporting our conservation Intern carrying out wildlife surveys, supporting volunteer work parties and helping to develop bushcraft and other activity venues on the Adventure Base. Training will be provided in a number of conservation and field studies skills. You will also receive training to deliver adventure activities here at A+. Training to instructor/leader level will be provided in a range of activities including canoeing, climbing, mountain-biking, archery, fencing, bushcraft. The role includes participation in the A+ discipleship programme and applied theology topics relating to our work with young people. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring encouragement to over 6,000 young people each year as we seek to be a credible Christian witness through our work in the outdoors.
