Total Adventure Holidays - Booking Conditions
It is expected that most participants will be brought to the local holidays by their
parents (lift shares are recommended). Travelling by public transport is only advised for those over 16.
Adventure Plus (A+) will arrange some assistance with transport as detailed in the booking form. Please
book your transport at the time of booking on the holiday as it may not be possible to add to numbers on
buses nearer the time.
Equipment: A+ provides all specialist activity and sports equipment. However, if you have equipment of your
own for a particular sport or activity that you would like to use, you are welcome to bring it along. Please label
it clearly and note that A+ cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your property.
A+ Instructors: It is A+ policy to use appropriately qualified activity instructors. All have DBS checks.
Lost property: Parents are advised to label all clothing and property brought to the holiday.
Lost property will be kept for one month after the end of the holiday and will be returned, if requested, on
receipt of a cheque for £5 (+ postage) to cover packaging handling, or items can be collected from the A+
Insurance: A+ recommends that all participants are covered by personal holiday insurance which must be
independently arranged. Please note we do not cover personal property. A+ has public liability cover for all
Places are allocated on receipt of a non-refundable deposit.
Full payment is due within four weeks of the start of the holiday. Refunds cannot be given for cancellations made within eight weeks of the start
of the holiday.
If a booking is taken and a deposit received for a TA holiday before or within the early booking discount period
then that will secure the discounted price for that event.
A+ reserve the right to alter the location or aspects of a TA programme if the situation demands it. In such cases every effort will be made to
provide a suitable alternative.
Except in the case of "force majeure", in the unlikely event that WF cancel your booking any payments made will be refunded, but we cannot
assume responsibility for other expenses your group may incur in relation to your booking.
Every effort is made to deliver the full advertised programme but A+ cannot guarantee to provide every activity listed.
Guidelines for maximum group sizes are observed so it may not be possible for everyone to try every activity.
In the interests of safety, A+ reserves the right to cancel any activity without notice in the event of unforeseen
circumstances (e.g. adverse weather or non-availability of a qualified instructor).
No refund can be made. A+ reserves the right to send any participant home for whatever reason, if it is considered to be in their own interest
or the interests of others. The parent or guardian agrees to collect the participant, or organise for their
collection the same day – at their own expense, no refund can be made.
As part of our marketing strategy, we regularly take photos of adults and children for marketing purposes. Under new data protection rules
we must obtain your consent to use photos. Please ensure you give the necessary consent when you book online. If you do not want your child
in a photograph please provide a photo of your child when booking. Your photo will be returned to you at the end of the event and we do not
store copies of these on our systems.
Total Adventure Holidays are smoke, alcohol and drug-free zones.
