Volunteers are vital to A+, and you don't have to be a rock or river junkie to make a difference. Our team of volunteers help us in many ways e.g. assist/lead activities, drive minibuses, teach dance, cater on holidays, raise funds.

Training

A+ run training courses throughout the year and active volunteers qualify for substantial discounts. By doing this, we can ensure that all our volunteers are all appropriately qualified to help on events and are CRB checked, so even if you haven't got much experience, you can still join us, get involved and get qualified.

To help, please complete our volunteer application form or contact Margaret Armitage to discuss. You can also join us for our Training Year to get trained up. We also run monthly volunteer days just to have some fun, meet other volunteers and staff, and build experience doing activities.
