Mountain-bike Instructor Award Scheme (MIAS) Level 1: 2-day course to obtain basic instrutor's qualification including maintenance, safety, route planning, on & off-road good practice and group management.
The Mountain Bike Leader qualification is the only mountain biking award to have benefited from a recognised qualification, from the NVQ Awarding Body NCFE.
