21 years of children and young people being inspired through adventure activities were celebrated at the Adventure Plus Fundraising Ball at the Macdonald Randolph Hotel on Saturday 15th October. Guests were treated to a delicious meal followed by an entertaining speach by BBC Broadcaster, Jeremy Vine.

There were some superb auction prizes, included cookery classes at Raymond Blanc's Cookery School and a Weekend in Jersey, thanks to the generosity of many individuals and companies.  This helped raise over £12,000 - a valuable contribution to launching the project to find an Adventure Base.

"It was the best ball yet" commented Aidan Mellor, and "It was an excellent event" Alan Jenkins.
