Elements of our Discipleship course include:
What we believe: So you signed the ‘Statement of Faith’ – now what does that really mean, for you as a team member, for us as an organisation…
Keeping our Faith Alive, Fresh & Real: you will prepare a session for discussion with the rest of the DisTIL™ team on issues such as:
- Who we spend time with. Our friends influence us, & we can encourage them;
- What we choose to read and watch on TV etc;
- Church: being plugged in to fellowship to keep us encouraged and to bring encouragement to others;
- Study: get to know God’s word and His ways through reading the bible, and other Christian material so we grow in knowledge and understanding;
- Prayer: our faith is not so much a religion as a relationship, Talk, ask and listen – but not necessarily in that order… When we invite God into situations we can expect to see him answer.
Mission: Why? Because we are commanded to. Go and make disciples… Matt 28. and He knows what is best for us:
Mission prevents our faith becoming wooden and stale. Our faith is given to us to give it away.
Out there – in Him: What we can learn about our Creator from His Creation:
- through the media of Water, Rock, Mountains, Light, Air.
- The path we choose affects the character of our Journey… (Jer 6:16)

It is a great opportunity to serve whilst learning new skills and growing in faith and maturity
