We work with children and young people aged 8 to 18 who are vulnerable and disadvantaged through:

Poverty

  • families on low incomes
  • children who do not get opportunities for adventure activities

Emotional & Behavioural Issues

  • poor social and communication skills
  • low self-esteem
  • excluded from (or at risk of exclusion from) mainstream education
  • have been involved in (or at risk of) offending
  • are not in education, employment or training (NEET)

Disability

  • those with physical disabilities
  • those who suffer from learning disabilities

Many participants have little experience of outdoor activities, but are willing to give them a go. Some even find they particularly enjoy the activities they feared most.

Referrals come from a wide variety of sources and the benefits to the young people can be many.  See our programmes for examples of activities and costs.

Please contact Andy McCulloch to discuss if we can help your group of young people.

Who Can Benefit?

Absolutely brilliant, I loved it all
