We would be delighted to organise the expedition you want, whether you are beginners or experienced; adults, families, a school or youth group.
Is there a trip you've always wanted to do but haven't had access to the equipment or expertise, why not get in touch and make it happen!
Here are just a few ideas to get you dreaming…
Mountain Walking
Let our qualified mountain leaders guide you across some of the most beautiful areas of the UK: the Lake District, Snowdonia & Scotland.
Stay in hostels, mountain huts or camp up in the hills (A+ can supplement your expedition equipment).
Off Road Cycling
Get out into the beauty of your chosen area on bridle paths & tracks for a few days – hostelling or camping as you go.
Canoe-camping
Meander to the rhythm of the beautiful rural Thames, upstream of Oxford.
Enjoy the introductory rapids & scenic beauty of mid-Wales as you paddle the River Wye.
Experience a Scottish loch and river trip - from the Highlands to the sea.
Why not build in an international dimension to your canoe expedition:
- France: on rivers such as the Loire, the Tarn or the Dordoigne.
- Scandinavia: Get immersed in the stunning unspoilt lake & river systems of Sweden or Finland, learning bushcraft skills as we go.
- US & Canada: The St Croix River system marks the border between Maine & New Brunswick. Here the wilderness is as beautiful as it is massive. Work with the A+ team and our Canadian guides to learn paddling skills & good ol’ Canadian ‘backwoodsmanship’. You can even add in a day or two of sea kayaking & whale watching in the renowned Bay of Fundy.
Any of the above trips can also include BCU 3* & 4* training & assessment and can form part of a DofE award. Contact Jon Cox to find out more.
I was especially impressed with how my comments after last year's trips were read and acted upon very effectively.
